Practical Dispersion Modeling – Part 3 – FREE WEBINAR

NaviKnow is presenting the third of four FREE Live virtual dispersion modeling workshops. The Practical Dispersion Modeling Workshops are a 4-part, to-the-point workshop, presenting all the information needed to complete nearly every dispersion modeling analysis you will ever perform in your career. We will list which model programs are needed, what data is required for those programs, where to find those data, and how to manipulate the data to construct your input files to get the model running so you can get your job done. Though non-modelers or novice modelers will find the workshop very informative, the experienced modeler will find the course content enlightening.  We will also cover tips and techniques to help you streamline your workflow. Part 3: AERMOD.EXE is on February 5th at noon CST.

If you use a commercial software interface to run AERMOD, which nearly everyone does, you probably never see the actual input file the AERMOD executable uses. Knowing the file structure, program keywords, and input attributes provides insight into what the model is actually doing behind the scenes. This insight is helpful in distinguishing the “Model World” from the actual physical world we live in.
